I spotted this little first gen two-door VW outside the Staples in Hyannis and had to add it one to my sketch pad. This started with the usual scribbles; once I had the car’s shape defined, I cleaned up stray lines and gave it cleaner shading. I’ve never met the owner, but I have to smile whenever I see this one while I’m on the road.
