Off Route 28, down behind the Cape-Abilities Thrift Shop there’s a beautiful cranberry bog with trails you can walk while the harvest is going on. My friends and I refer to that as the Cape-Abil-A-Bog, and on the particular day I was walking with the dogs, this aluminum boat was drifting in a sea of pink. I painted this the next morning, while the colors were still fresh in my mind.
